Boston

We were so excited to get out of town in August for a week to go to Boston! We went to attend the wedding of close friends Brad and Brett, but on the trip we also celebrated our first wedding anniversary.

We started off the trip by eating at Stephanie's, Sarah's favorite restaurant. The next day, we set off on the Freedom Trail. It was so hot, we had to stop here and there just to cool off! Each time we started to feel over heated, we popped into a pub for a beer! The walk sort of turned into a Pub Crawl along the Freedom Trail, but we felt this was entirely appropriate in Bean Town.

Other points of interest that we visited were the JFK Museum, a duck tour (of course), the Science Museum, The Bell in Hand Tavern, among other places. We even went to the Sam Adams brewery for a tour! The piece de resistance, however, were tickets to see the Red Sox play the Yankees at Fenway Stadium. Unfortunately, they lost. It was still a fantastic experience, however, and we made sure to hit up the pubs around Fenway for the ultimate experience!

Unfortunately, our St. Kitts trip was cut short by a car accident. We had to come home immediately for medical treatment. Needless to say, we are so thankful that no one was seriously injured. We are all ok, but were sad to have such a tragedy happen.

We did get a couple of days in St. Kitts that we really enjoyed. Josh played golf with Dad, Greg and Justin, while the girls went to the spa.

So, I pulled out all my summer clothes for our St. Kitts trip that is fast approaching! We can't wait to see what changes there are, and we hope to show Greg and Sandy the best the island has to offer. I call the chair on the right!!

Our first six months of marriage..

All is well here at the Dragseth house. We've been busy with a new job for Sarah, and lots of work for Josh! Sarah is still teaching in Keller once a week, and singing at HPPC. Josh is getting tickets for the Mavs again next year as well. So, not much has changed, but it is all different!! Now we know understand what our friends were saying when they said, it is different to be married!

We hosted Thanksgiving this year at our house. It was a fun, newlywed rite of passage, and Mom and Dad were thankful to have the break!

Chrismas was busy. But it was also special to us this year as it was our first Christmas being married!

January was a very busy month. We co-hosted an engagement party for close friends in Keller, and we celebrated Sarah's 30th Birthday in style with a Mardi Gras themed party at our house. Josh really went all out with the planning, and got a drink machine to make frozen Hurricane's. After all, it wouldn't be Mardi Gras without Hurricane's! This was a pre-cursor of course, to the real thing.

In February, we went to Babylon to see Dad ride in the parade. It was Josh's first trip to a Mardi Gras ball. Unfortunately, we didn't get any pictures of everyone dressed up, but it was an event!!

Honeymoon in Mexico

We had an absolut blast in Mexico. We didn't make too many plans, and spent most of our time poolside taking in the amazing view. Fantastic trip, can't wait to go back!

The wedding went off without a hitch, and fun was had by all. We were so happy to be able to celebrate with so many family members and friends who travelled from all over!

It's really getting close now! We're finishing up the last minute details, making programs, finalizing table assignments, and packing our suitcases. Josh's parents arrive on Monday night!

Only 50 days until she makes me the happiest man on this earth. We went to the Warwick last night to pick out the food for the reception and stayed for dinner. What an excellent night! Great food & wine to go with a great atmosphere.
